Plans & billing

Plans, the free trial, switching plans, cancelling, and what happens to your plan when you uninstall.

Billing for the Fashionbits EDI app runs entirely through Shopify. You never pay us directly: every charge appears on your regular Shopify invoice, and every change has to be approved by you in your Shopify admin first.

You’ll find all of this in the app under Settings → Plans & billing.

Plan Price Included
Standard €49 / month Incoming messages: PRICAT, ORDRSP, DESADV
Pro €99 / month Plus outgoing reports: INVRPT, SLSRPT

Both plans include unlimited messages and unlimited trading partners.

Your very first subscription comes with 14 days free. Shopify only charges you once the trial ends, and you can cancel at any time. The trial is available once per company — a later subscription starts without another trial.

While the trial runs, the Plans & billing page shows how many days are left at the top.

  • Upgrade (e.g. Standard → Pro): takes effect as soon as you approve the new charge in Shopify. Shopify credits the time you already paid for.
  • Downgrade (e.g. Pro → Standard): takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep the higher plan until then. The app shows a Downgrade scheduled notice with the date, and you can cancel the scheduled change any time before it.

Use Cancel subscription on the same page. You keep access until the end of the current billing period — the end date is shown in the Subscription ending notice. No further charges are made after that. Until the end date you can reactivate with one click; Shopify will ask you to approve the charge again.

Your data is kept after a cancellation. Processed messages your plan no longer covers are simply paused, and are released again automatically once you subscribe.

When you uninstall the app, Shopify stops the recurring charge and we drop your plan entitlement inside the app.

So if you install the app again later, your first visit takes you back to Plans & billing to pick a plan and approve the charge in Shopify again. You are never silently kept on a paid plan.

In one special case Shopify keeps your old subscription across the reinstall — for instance when you have already paid for the current month. The app then tells you so directly on the billing page and names the date that plan runs out or renews, so you always know how long your access is good for.

All invoices and receipts live in your Shopify admin under Settings → Billing. The app does not issue invoices of its own.
