Connect email account
Connect a Microsoft 365 mailbox to the Fashionbits EDI app so incoming EDI messages get processed.
The app reads incoming EDI messages from a Microsoft 365 mailbox. To do that, you connect the mailbox once via Microsoft OAuth. No passwords are stored — the app receives a revocable access token.
Connecting an email account
Section titled “Connecting an email account”- Open Settings → Email connection in the app.
- Choose Microsoft 365 as the connection method and click Connect Microsoft 365.
- Sign in with the Microsoft 365 account your trading partners send EDI messages to, and approve the requested permissions.
- You’re redirected back to the app. The status changes to Connected.
Once connected, the app automatically sets up a notification (Graph subscription), so new messages are processed without any manual fetching.
Checking the connection
Section titled “Checking the connection”Use Test connection on the Email connection page at any time to check whether the mailbox is reachable. If the test fails, reconnect the account.
Disconnecting
Section titled “Disconnecting”Disconnect removes access. The app deletes the token and the Graph subscription. Incoming messages stop being processed until you connect an account again.
